The children had a lovely time visiting Bournemouth. The day began with a talk from the the lifeguards about safety on the beach. Following a quick play, building sandcastles and paddling in the sea, they ate lunch. In the afternoon the children enjoyed a tour of the museum, where they had the chance to dress up in some interesting costumes! Below, some of the children recount their day.

Computer Art - In the style of Mondrian. |

Year 2 have recently created their Mondrian replicas by using a drawing package on the computers in our ICT Suite. They made use of the line and shape tools to draw vertical and horizontal lines together with the fill tool to add some blocks of colour.
