In literacy we have been looking at story settings. We explored a daytime playground setting through role play. We used a clip from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban to explore a spooky playground setting at nighttime. We took digital photos of our facial expressions to explore character feelings. Here are some examples of our finished writing.

In this week's Year 3 Science lesson the children have been observing differences and making comparisons between samples of soil. Through group discussion and practical example they have looked at different samples of soil, noting differences in appearance and material contained in soil samples.
