Minutes from Meeting Tuesday 30th October 2007

Following on from a successful AGM, the following dates for 2007/2008 events were agreed:

Non Uniform Day

BG agreed to allow the children a non-uniform day on Friday 7^th December in return for bringing in Luxury Items needed for Hamper prizes.

Christmas Dinner Dance 17^th November

SOLD OUT! Great Success.

Grand Draw

The grand draw will take place on Monday 17^th December during assembly

NR to ask Liz Baker to organise the Raffle Tickets.

Burns Night 26^th January 2008

Agreed to sell ticket after the winter Ball, and tickets will hopefully be £15 each.

School Disco Dates

Friday 30^th November - Canvas Parents for Help at the end

Friday 8^th February 08 - New Glow products

Friday 16^th July 08

Friday 28^th November

Elvis Night

Date 8^th March TBC. Will include a Fish & Chips supper. We could possibly run a Bar. NR / HS to check to see if a Licence is required - Shelia in Office might know.

Easter Bingo

Saturday 15^th April, SK / HS / WA agreed to organise. Speak to Ian Beattie to see if happy to be caller again. Will try to have more winners at this event.

Summer Fayre

Try to set a date in June, 5/06 21/06 28/06. BG agreed to call other Schools in area to establish dates of other events to avoid a clash.

Alyson Lean expressed an interested in helping to organise.  NR to see if we can book Bracken & Bramble.

Quiz Night

Set date for Oct 11^th. This will be Tom and Julie Roberts's last quiz for the school.

Winter Dance

Set date for 22ⁿ November.

A.O.B

Bring & Buy Sale. Caroline L volunteered to organise. Would run between 2-4pm in school hall. Any left over clothing could be given to Charity. AM to phone charity collectors

PTA Website SK to send PTA publications to IW to post on the website.

Playground Markings Repairs have finally been completed.

Canteen DC suggested that volunteers are needed to help tidy up the Canteen.

Christmas Puddings Reps to take orders and hold a stall in playground each week.

Date of Next meeting is 15^th January 2008. See you in the New Year!!
