The PTA exists to promote goodwill and co-operation between the home and the school through organising fundraising social and educational events and activities. As a parent, guardian or teacher of a pupil at Crowthorne C of E Primary School you are automatically a member of the Crowthorne C of E Parent Teacher Association. All profits form the activities we organise are reinvested in school projects for the benefit of your children. So far this year we have approved funds to purchase the following: Junior Librarian (see Autumn Term Newsletter for further information), A set of Portable Goal Posts and Blinds for Reception Geography and Early Years Software Packages for the Interactive Whiteboards Story Stacks. PTA Meetings and Events take place throughout the year. Dates of forthcoming meetings and events are posted on the Notice Boards in the playground, on this web site and in your Spring, Summer and Autumn Term Newsletters. Your children will also bring home notes (usually on green paper) of pre-arranged meetings and social functions. It?s a great way to meet new people who share some common goals! Nominations of the Committee are made at the first meeting of the Autumn Term. If you would like to serve on the committee or just get involved and lend an occasional hand please let us know. We are happy to receive any comments you may have, favourable or otherwise, at any time. You can contact us via the Contact Us link, by completing our Feedback form (available to download below) or feel free to speak to an existing member of the Committee. |
