Going for Green . . . again!

After our successful application to earn the coveted Eco-Schools Green Flag last July, we are ready to begin another cycle and go for our second Green Flag!

So far this year we have elected a new team of children from Years 1 to 6 and we have worked together as a school to carry out an Environmental Review. The results of the Review showed that we are doing well in Global Citizenship (scoring 8 out of 10) but less well in Marine (scoring 4 out of 10). These results have guided us as we put together an Action Plan which focuses on Marine, Litter and Waste. We have come up with some exciting projects which we will work on over the course of the year.
